How to Find a Good Provider of Stainless Steel Water Tank

So you have decided that it is time to bring the high quality tank covers to your plant.

Whether you are doing the inside or outside there are many things to consider when
making this important decision.

The First 5 Steps to Find a Good Tank Cover Provider

1. Check to make sure that they have a good reputation in their domestic county.
2. Ask how long they have been in stainless steel water tank business.
3. Check to make sure they have the Hydraulic Press instead of outsourcing.
4. Get at least one other bid to make sure they are not totally ripping you off.
5. Check their response speed through interactions.

The easiest way to find the answers above is to check their web site. Normally, the
big company always has the web page to demonstrate their missions, products and
service. Some web sites even show the pictures of their manufacture machines,
plant, or loading up covers to a container.

If they don't, you can use an email, Skype or even a direct call to figure out the
answers as well. This is a .COM era, make good use of it.

How to Select a Stainless Steel Tank Cover Provider?

Think about the last time you purchased a car. Chances are you didn’t go to the
yellow pages, choose a dealership at random, and buy your car from the first lot you
visited. Many times, though, this scenario describes the way business owner find a
provider -- they look in the phone book or internet searching pages and call the
provider with the largest ad or the first one listed. But much like purchasing a car,
finding a qualified provider requires research and comparison ordering.

Ask Questions

1. Can they send me the catalog, RIGHT AWAY!!

Well-prepared company always has their catalog, because they are ready for
business in any time. If possible, ask them email to you immediately.

2. Would it be possible for them to provide some short videos of tank cover while
producing??

The move is to make sure that they have the Hydraulic Press in their plant
instead of outsourcing. You can be more certain that you can get the cover lid in a
lower price. You can even ask for one or more relative information to justify.

3. Ask what is the resource of stainless steel row material? or Which company
did they get the stainless steel material from?

It's an important to know where the row material comes from. As I know, if the
material's origin is questionable. The quality could be doubtful. It may
influence the quality of you tank products. Your tanks would get rusty very easily.
If possible, make them show you some paper to prove it.

4. In what specification of stainless steel tank lid do they provide??
It's a good question to know whether their covers can meet your requirement or
not?

Here are the 4 questions you usually ask??
*In what diameter of tank lid do you provide??
*In what thickness of tank cover does your company provide??
*In what kind of stainless steel material do you provide??
(Normally, in stainless steel water tank industry, cover are made from SUS304 or SUS316)
*BA or 2B?? (BA: Flash Finishing; 2B: Matt Finish)

5. When these heavy stainless steel tank covers actually deliver, how do they get them
packed??

It's firmly important that they pack it well, because steel stuff is extremely heavy.
If the STEEL thing is packed without concern, then it's dangerous and
inconvenient for you to get them out. What is more, it can highly reduce the
damages while delivering these heavy covers. Again, let them show the
pictures to know how they deal with the problem.

6. Apart from the material origin, notice that quality of the tank covers before
shipping.

In our experience, some companies provide the stainless steel tank covers at a very
CHEAP price. It is because they adopt spare part from the waste material. You
had better get some pictures before shipping to make sure the quality.

Ask For a Quote

When you totally evaluate the provider's information and ability, considering ever
terms they offer, then you can ask for a quote. Before that, provide them the
specification about the tank lid products you need. Or you can ask them to provide
the quotation of the over all cover products in all they produce. Make sure the
contractors are quoting on the same specifications. In the quote also ask then to
specify the time it will take to complete the job.

Execute a Contract

Execute a contract specifying the work to be done, total cost, payment term, start
date and estimated completion date. Make sure the contract includes the right
product specification in each item, as well as the number of amount.
Things to Look for a Qualified Provider

Safety Commitment

It's normal that you find something damage while the cargo actually deliver. Ask
them to provider how they cope with the difficulty. The responsible one will give
you the satisfying answer. Make sure the contract specifies that the provider is
responsible for the damage compensation while cargo actually ship.

Technique Support

Some providers' tank covers may have a slightly different in design. If any
problem occurs, their support is necessary. See if they could provide this
kind of service to reduce the risk you may suffer.
